Hmm...skip the small talk

Hmm...skip the small talk

Join us for “Hmm…skip the small talk” a social event organized by the Language Cloud. Held every 2 months, it’s an open space where total strangers come together to connect through meaningful conversations, bypassing the usual small talk. We’ve curated the most engaging and thought-provoking questions to help participants open up and share their deepest thoughts, perspectives, and life experiences. Our goal is to foster a culture of friendship, empathy, understanding, and respect, transcending cultural differences and personal stories. Here’s how it works: Participants gather in groups of 5 around a table, taking turns drawing question cards. Each participant answers the same question, sparking insightful discussions that last for 30 minutes. Then, participants move to a new table, ready to engage in new conversations with other strangers. This engaging rotation continues for a couple of hours, with the evening eventually concluding with participants going out for a drink with their new acquaintances. Embrace the opportunity to form genuine connections and immerse yourself in thought-provoking dialogue. Join us for an enriching experience where meaningful interactions await.
